6/28/2001 Here are some photos. These are the best we can do for now, will get some "people" pics later. We made it to the Longmont, CO show. Had a lot of interest. Stopped at Rock Springs, WY for fuel. 6700' elevation. 90 deg. F., full fuel -- and took off in about 1300 feet. Not too bad! [approx. 10,000' density altitude - ed.] We had never been to 17,500' before we went to Longmont. On the trip, we did 215kts true at 17,500!!! The plane is "as advertised". Even down at only 10,000', we still get about 195 KTAS with no wheelpants. Having a blast with the airplane. more later, |
