COMP AIR 8 Turbine

COMP AIR EIGHTPersonal Airliner?

Advancing the power lever on the big Walter M601 turboprop opens up a whole new world for pilots and passengers accustomed to flying aircraft powered by piston engines. As power is introduced, your Comp Air 8 Turbine will accelerate rapidly. Your passengers will be able to enjoy "First Class" luxury and comfort, and will soon feel right at home when they hear the distinctive sound of the jet engine, feel the powerful acceleration it provides, and experience the stable, comfortable ride that is characteristic of CA8 TurbineLET 410 airplanes. You might want to describe your new CA8 as a "personal airliner". In fact, that’s where the Walter M601 engines used in the CA8 originate: 19-seat LET 410 commuter airliners.

Need Room for the Family?

As your passengers settle down for some relaxed cross-country cruising, they will appreciate the roomy cabin of the CA8 Turbine. With ample space to seat up to 6 adults in comfort (plus a couple kids or baggage), there is plenty of room for everyone. Lots of headroom, legroom, and shoulder room are available in a big cabin that is easily customized to suit each owner’s individual preferences. Many builders elect to install CD or DVD players, intercoms, autopilots, leather upholstery, air conditioners, and other ride-enhancing creature comforts. Flights in the CA8 Turbine are comfortable and pleasant behind the big, smooth-running, vibration-free  Walter M601 turboprop powerplant. This is an airplane enjoyed by both pilots and passengers.
